PocketCut

Data deletion and platform disconnection

PocketCut has no PocketCut user account. Connected-platform publishing remains limited to development, provider-approved testers, and the invitation-only TikTok Sandbox; TikTok production review is submitted and pending, and no public production launch has occurred.

Local app data

Delete projects in PocketCut to remove their app-private media, transcripts, edits, and journals. Uninstalling removes remaining app-private data. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled.

A native share destination may retain an export after you hand it to the operating-system share interface. Delete that copy in the destination app or location; PocketCut cannot delete data controlled by another app.

TikTok Sandbox connection

Use Disconnect TikTok in a supported test build or Disconnect & delete session in the browser publisher. PocketCut deletes the active service record and asks TikTok to revoke access. Active records otherwise expire after one hour and are scheduled for deletion. Recoverable encrypted database history may remain in Cloudflare's recovery system for up to 30 days.

If revocation fails, remove PocketCut in TikTok's connected-app settings. Disconnecting does not delete videos already received by TikTok and never deletes your TikTok account. Delete posts in TikTok itself. A non-account marker may remain to prevent reuse of a deleted session.

Unified test connections

Use the app's disconnect action to invalidate a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X, or LinkedIn test connection. Instagram and Threads test publishing may temporarily stage only the selected export in private Cloudflare R2; disconnecting invalidates its access and schedules deletion. Deleting a connection does not delete posts already received by a platform.

Threads also sends PocketCut a signed callback when you remove the app or request deletion through Meta. PocketCut verifies that signature, invalidates every matching connection, deletes staged media, and returns an opaque confirmation link. You may use the request-help contact below for any provider connection you can no longer access in the app.
